Solar Scooter?

Developed by Solarin Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd, the scooter is powered by either sunlight, ultraviolet rays, or an electrical charge.

From this picture, I can't quite figure out the solar part of this. Are there integrated panels somewhere? Does it come with free panels? Otherwise, what makes it more solar than any other electric scoot? 2strokebuzz reports:

Solarin Holdings of Malaysia has developed a solar/electric-powered scooter capable of 55 mph. The Solarin Turtle is expected to be available to consumers next May for less than US$900. China has already placed an order for 100,000 units and Solarin says they’ve seen interest from the U.S., Japan, and Europe. I imagine so.

I couldn't find anything more about this on the Solarin website, and a Google search was fruitless, so until more data (and third party confirmation) is available, the Dragon is dubious. It would sure be nice though.

for all i know, solarin is just doing it to get grants. they claimed to have spent RM75Million on the R&D of the scooter shown in the picture. they cant claim it as a solar bike as it doesnt have panels on the bike. it can be considered as an electric bike. lots of weird stuff going on. i for one would say that these are the people who are giving the solar industry a bad name. what do u think?
