Other stuff from F2 Motorcycles Ltd

Other stuff from F2 Motorcycles Ltd

One of the fringe benefits of blogging, is checking my hits and seeing how people stumble across the Dragon's Lair. Some of you kids have some really creative web-searches, and I frequently come up with posts just from looking at the other results from searches that lead people here.
This miscellaneous inventory page from F2 Motorcycles came up in a search for the terms rat survival bike.
Top of the page is a gorgeous bell tent, for a mere 306 pounds sterling. (That's like, what $600 USD?) Pricey for a tent, yes. But for the space you're getting, not too bad. And if you are a historical recreationist, not a bad deal at all. This lovely canvas confection could easily be tweaked to look "period" for eras from the 1200's to the 1930's. And it's supposed to be extremely quick and easy to set up.

The design of the bell tent reduces wind resistance, making it more stable than other designs in windy conditions. Its wedge shape enables it to be folded to a compact size, and with only one upright sectional pole the tent can be transported with ease in the smallest of vehicles. Not for solo motorcycle touring, but if you have a sidecar, camp in style in one of these 100% 12oz white cotton canvas bell tents. Made to an original design using only the best waterproof and rot resistant natural materials, these bell tents have hemp fibre rope guy lines, hessian sod cloth, poly ground sheet and wooden pegs. The 2' side walls can be rolled up for additional ventilation on hot days. The single centre pole makes it easy and quick to put up with just two people and offers a huge amount of space. Enough to sleep five people in comfort, and up to ten if you really like each other. The tent in these pictures was put up by just one person in less than five minutes, by pegging down the sides and then placing the pole in the centre. The bell tent is 8ft 6ins tall with a 2ft side wall and diameter of 13ft, offering more internal floor space than a 10' by 12' frame tent, but even easier to put up than a ridge tent.
