My favorite Metal band, Spinal Tap is reuniting for the Live Earth Concert this July!
That's right, the band who goes to 11 is gonna "make some noise to help heal the Earth."
There's a great 15 minute video about the process of the band's reunion to found at the title link.
Some more info about the upcoming reunion from Spinal Tap's Wikipedia entry:
In 2007, Tap will reunite again, this time to help combat global warming. "They're not that environmentally conscious, but they've heard of global warming." said Marty DeBergi. (Documentary director of This is Spinal Tap) "Nigel thought it was just because he was wearing too much clothing – that if he just took his jacket off it would be cooler." This reunion will also include the release of a new song called "Warmer Than Hell." The band will play on the London leg of the SOS/Live Earth concert series, and Rob Reiner has directed a short film (entitled Spinal Tap) which was released on the Live Earth website on 27 April.[1] The film reveals that Nigel Tufnel is now working as a farm hand looking after miniature horses. He plans to race them. David St Hubbins is currently working as a Hip-Hop producer and Derek Smalls is in rehab for being addicted to the internet.
via Treehugger because like David St. Hubbins, "I've always been against devastation."
